I think it's odd people forget how much LE FABULEUX DESTIN D'AMELIE POULIN actually apes LA DOUBLE VIE DE VERONIQUE, from the haircut to the colors to the mystery love affair. And how Kieslowski's is much better. Its spontaneity slays Jeunet's art-directed-to-death whimsy.
